The No.550 Weekender was introduced in 2026 as a NEW Limited Edition series weekender/duffel. The exclusive Coronado Leather design is more structured than our other duffels and designed with a square body shape with dual top carry-handles (steel reinforced) and wide-top opening for easy access. The No.550 is not as long as our full-size duffels, but still spacious enough for a full 2-3 day pack. The shape in vintage inspired but uniquely designed with several Coronado signature design details in the stitching and leather combinations.
CUT FROM THE TRIMMED-SHOULDER SECTION OF OUR SHRUNKEN-GRAIN BISON
The No.550 is the only duffel that is made from the trimmed shoulder and neck section of the bison hide. We hand-trim each bison hide, removing the shoulder/neck section with the most pronounced and largest grain patterns. The larger mid and lower sections are used most products to maintain better grain consistency. The face and back panels of the No.550 will be cut from the shoulder/neck of the hide, showcasing the rugged and bold American bison texture. A detail you will not find with any other brand using American bison leathers.
Because this a small section of the bison hide, we have a very limited selection of the "Shrunken Shoulders". We will run these as the leather is available, usually 2-3 times per year.
ENGLISH BRIDLE Trim, Strap & Handles | US Tanned (Wickett & Craig)
Each bag is trimmed with genuine US Tanned English Bridle leather. A pure, 100% vegetable tanned steerhide, English Bridle is commonly used for equestrian saddles, straps and other applications that require durability with minimal stretch. Our English Bridle is US tanned in Pennsylvania at the Wickett & Craig tannery.

The No.550 is a LIMITED EDITION weekender that is made 100%, start to finish in our San Diego, California factory. The top carry handles are extra-tough, with steel reinforced bars under the zipper panels for structure and weight support with premium Italian made (solid-brass) hardware, oversized brass luggage zippers made in Georgia.
Other features include a wider double-layered guitar-style strap, bottom leather feet, a wide-mouth open body, and a 14" long inside zipper pocket for dirty clothes. Includes our Lifetime Warranty and will be internally marked and logged with a unique serial number, noting the date of production and the unique sequence number.
