For close to a year we sought out to design and create an American Western vest that was vintage inspired yet original. The No.484 Vaquero is exactly that, a design that looks familiar but never made quite in this way. A vest that makes you feel as good as it looks, with details that are apparent but not gaudy. No fringe, or lacing just a classic, handsome and exceptional fitting men's American Western Vest.
Every design detail is intentional, from the two-tone double stitched seams to the contrasting leather piping and slim, double welted chest pockets. The Vaquero is an exceptional vest made from premium materials and artisanal craftsmanship.

The Vaquero Vest is truly handcrafted, it's not just marketing. The vest is built by artisans that have been making leather vests for decades. Crafted in small batch quantities and in no way mass produced, each vest is cut by hand, one hide at a time. The stitching is precise and intentional with tonal and contrasting threads that showcase the attention to detail. We use custom made brass snaps that are not found anywhere else and finish the vest with a 100% cotton ripstop lining that is lightweight, breathable and durable.
The fit of a Western Vest is as important as the design and often an overlooked detail. The No.480 Vaquero is a true Western Vest fit with higher and smaller armholes, a slight taper in the body and offered in even number US coat sizes from 38-56 for a more precise fit with closer sizes.
