The No.830 DESIGN & DETAILS
The No.830 is our exclusive, vintage inspired "long wallet" offered with our without the 18" brass chain. It is precision-cut with steel dies and 100% hand-sewn with old-world, traditional saddle-stitching construction and premium waxed Spanish thread, entirely in our San Diego, CA factory. The edges are sanded, polished and waxed and each wallet is marked with the item number and the month it was built.
The inside includes six card slots (each can hold up to 2 cards) a full-length bill slot and a 6" brass cutout zipper pocket that opens to the full length and width of the body. The No.830 is a true heirloom quality wallet that will live with you for decades.
GENUINE HORWEEN® HORSEHIDE CXL STRIP
This version is made from
Horween® Chromexcel horsehide strips. This is the section that rests just above the “Shell” or horse butt. The strips are tanned alongside Horween’s Shell Cordovan for the first 45 days, these strips have a combo chrome and veg tan, which is then hot stuffed and finished as Chromexcel. The leather is ultra-strong with very little stretch and a smooth, rich finish. A fantastic leather for belts and wallets, the CXL strip is smooth, tight and with a natural tan backing.

Like all of our products, we build our wallets to last, but after years of use even the best leathers and threads can wear down. Because there are NO SYNTHETIC LINERS or FILLERS, our handsewn wallets are 100% recraftable where the far majority of wallets are not. There is a reasonable cost, but we can rebuild and recraft your wallet for life. Just another reason to buy a genuine, handsewn wallet.
