One of our first style vests made back in the 90's updated today with our bold and tough Genuine American Bison leather. A classic western cut with front lapels and a western-yoke back, finished with decorative Buffalo Nickel snaps.
The Bison Lapel Vest is hand-cut and skillfully made from US tanned American Bison leather. The 3-4oz. bison hides are soft and "drapey" with a natural pebble grain surface. Each vest is made with our dual CCW pockets along with three additional inside and two outside hand pockets. A premium western style vest, designed and built exclusively by Coronado Leather.

The American Western Vest became a staple piece in the American West during the 1800s. A "gentlemen's" garment that was worn out and oftentimes under a topcoat, the Western Vest was as commonly used as cowboy boots and hats.

Each vest is hand-cut and assembled by artisans that have been making western leather vests for decades. The combination of expert craftsmanship, quality materials, superior fits and exceptional designs makes our American Western Vest special in every aspect.
The No.29 Classic Lapel Vest was one of our first vests made in the 90's. A classic western cut vest (belt length) with front lapels and a western-yoke back. The clean one-piece front design is complemented with premium American Bison, Deerskin, Steerhide and other high-quality leathers.

Crafted in small batch quantities and in no way mass produced, each vest is cut by hand, one hide at a time. The stitching is precise and intentional with tonal and contrasting threads that showcase the attention to detail. We build each vest with premium US tanned American Bison, Steerhide and other Limited Edition leathers and finish the vest with 100% cotton ripstop lining or other high-quality lightweight and breathable fabrics.

"This vest is different than the one I bought years ago. The old one has two holsters. I draw with my left hand and the new vest only has one holster on the right side. This vest is made for a left hand person. I’m not sure how to remedy this."
