The No.484 Vaquero Vest is our latest American Western inspired vest introduced in the Spring of 2026. The design is a Coronado Leather exclusive designed with a combination of vintage and original design details that make the Vaquero a truly unique style.
The front western curved yokes are double-stitched with a combination of contrast and tonal threads and trimmed with contrasting leather piping. The upper chest pockets are curved and double-welted with leather piping. The hand and watch pockets are trimmed with contrasting leather for a total of five front pockets. The vest is secured with brass, custom designed southwestern inspired snaps in an antique brass finish.
The No.484 Vaquero is a traditional cut western vest with an exceptional fit. The armholes are higher and the shoulders are slightly narrower to provide a more tailored fit but not undersized. There is a slight taper and our general sizing scale will still apply. Designed with less interior leather trim to provide a lightweight and comfortable feel at less than 2lbs in a standard size 42.
PREMIUM GARMENT GRADE NUBUCK STEERHIDE & 100% Cotton Ripstop Liner
This version is made a supple & drapey 3-3.5oz. buffed steerhide (NUBUCK) in a Charcoal colored, garment grade tannage. The leather is sanded and buffed to give the surface a suede-like appearance in a more durable top-grain steerhide. Tanned in a matte, Coyote Tan color and trimmed with a smooth black steerhide (piping and pockets). Finished with a durable, lightweight and breathable 100% cotton ripstop lining (6oz) in a dark khaki color.

For close to a year we sought out to design and create an American Western vest that was vintage inspired yet original. The No.484 Vaquero is exactly that, a design that looks familiar but never made quite in this way. A vest that makes you feel as good as it looks, with details that are apparent but not gaudy. No fringe, or lacing just a classic, handsome and exceptional fitting men's American Western Vest.
Every design detail is intentional, from the two-tone double stitched seams to the contrasting leather piping and slim, double welted chest pockets. The Vaquero is an exceptional vest made from premium materials and artisanal craftsmanship.

ARTISIN CRAFTED IN AN EXCEPTIONAL FIT
The Vaquero Vest is truly handcrafted, it's not just marketing. The vest is built by artisans that have been making leather vests for decades. Crafted in small batch quantities and in no way mass produced, each vest is cut by hand, one hide at a time. The stitching is precise and intentional with tonal and contrasting threads that showcase the attention to detail. We use custom made brass snaps that are not found anywhere else and finish the vest with a 100% cotton ripstop lining that is lightweight, breathable and durable.
