The Field Duffel No.300 was first introduced in the summer of 2024, making it our most recent duffel bag. It is an exclusive design with some unique features that are really functional and just looks great. The square shape is vintage inspired with a taller profile that is large enough to be considered a full-size duffel. The square body it taller and with a wider base than our other duffels, but not as long. This makes the #300 easier to maneuver through airports, trains and cars but with the capacity to carry like a full-size duffel will. The top double carry handles and large one-piece face panels, make the No.300 distinctly masculine and uniquely interesting. 
Hand-crafted in our San Diego, California leather shop in a LIMITED EDITION Horween® Chromexcel® in a Saffron color. This is a true "Heirloom Quality" bag that can be passed down for generations. Every step of the process is made in our San Diego leather shop, from design, cutting, hand-polishing and sewing, 100% American made.

HORWEEN® Chromexcel® Saffron | Limited Edition x10 (June 2026)
This is a seasonal Limited Edition version is made in our San Diego factory from two different US tanned Horween leathers. The base of the duffel is made from Horween® Chromexcel® in a very limited run of their "Saffron" color. The trim and accents are made from their 7/8oz. dark brown latigo steerhide and lined with a 100% cotton pinstripe chambray lining.

    Founded in 1981 and still based in San Diego, Coronado Leather is an American brand focused on making premium leathergoods that are built for life. This product was made by us, a small team of less than twenty proud designers, creators and artisans of leather goods in San Diego, California.

    This is our second home and our passion. A shop of talented men and women building American made products the way they used to be made. Our products are crafted in small batch quantities and in no way mass produced. We select the finest leathers, mostly from the US with some select leathers from Italy and Germany. We use solid-brass hardware from Italy and the US, premium Ykk USA zippers and other custom hardware.

    The stitching is precise and intentional with tonal and contrasting threads. we hand stain and polish raw edges and hand-set the majority of our rivets.
    American made quality that matter and shows in every product we make.
