This is a one-off product that was built and stone-washed in February 2026. It is the #207 Duffel design but stone-washed after construction for an aged, worn and vintage appearance. The photography is the actual product that will ship.

This product was proudly designed, cut and sewn in our San Diego, California leather shop. It has been built entirely by our employees 100% (start to finish), in our own factory.  We don’t “partially assemble” our products in another country. We do this the right way, in respect to all the American manufacturers over the last century that have laid the groundwork for us to make our legacy.

Our Horween® Americana leather is a natural, 100% vegetable tanned steerhide tanned in Chicago, Illinois. The tannage uses Horween's old-fashioned, time proven Shell Cordovan tanning liquors. A blend of fats, oils, natural waxes and greases are tanned into the leather giving the hides a durability, softness and a rich round feel. The hides are finished with a "hot-plating" to give them a smoother surface, a rich lustre and a light sheen. You will notice a slight "pull-up" effect with light undertones and a wonderful "leather" smell. The "temper" is slightly firm, making it ideally suited for luggage and cases. 

Our Americana Leather is a true "Artisan" tanned leather made from domestic US hides and tanned, start to finish, in the USA since 1905.

Our “Stone-Washed Leather” was inspired by vintage Americana work-wear, denim jeans and leather goods from the 60s'-80's. The process is 100% unique and developed exclusively by us over several years, with the first production run made in the Summer of 2015. 

We start with a Horween® vegetable-tanned leather in a chestnut tan color. The products are built first, all in our San Diego, California leather shop. After construction, they are stone-washed in Los Angeles, where the company has been stone-washing denim jeans since the 1990’s.  Over the next 2-3 days, each product is brought back to life, involving several methods and steps to bring back the oils and lustre to the leather. There is no shortcut here, the process is 100% by hand and takes time and care. When they are ready, you will see rolled corners, darkened edges, creased flaps and changes in the grain, all making each product amazingly authentic and totally unique. 

The entire process, starting from the leather we use (Horween® tanned in Chicago), the construction (built in San Diego, CA) and the stone-washing (Los Angeles, CA) is 100% Made In The USA. 

We love building products a lot more than repairing them!  That’s why we design and build our products to last. We want the product to give you a lifetime of use, but if they fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or replace it at little or no charge for the life of the product.
