We were lucky enough to purchase the entire small batch of only (10) hides. There is not a definitive date or confirmation on its future, but we hope to have this leather again in 2026. We were able to make (10) of the NEW CEO Messengers, all trimmed with a natural Horween® Dublin leather.\n\u003cp\u003eAs unique as the No.935 design is, the leather is as or more special. It is a true “shrunken-grain” American bison leather that is 100% natural and naked without dye. The leather is vegetable tanned and tumbled with propriety Horween® waxes. The darker tan color “tipping” you will see in the grain is accomplished with heat, waxes and tumbling. The grain pattern and color is outstanding and totally natural, nothing like I have seen from Horween® or other tanneries before. Expect grain and color variations from panel to panel in the messengers, although we tried to cut with this in mind (matching fronts and backs).\u003cem\u003eYou can read more about the leather in the tab below. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/em\u003eEach bag was made entirely in our San Diego factory in August 2025. We used a premium, 10oz. 100% cotton herringbone canvas lining from Yoshiwa Mill in Japan, solid brass hardware from our supplier in Northern Italy and the leather is tanned at the renowned Horween® tannery in Chiacgo, IL.
