It is a true “shrunken-grain” American bison leather that is 100% natural and naked without dye. The leather is vegetable tanned and tumbled with propriety Horween® waxes. The darker tan color “tipping” you will see in the grain is accomplished with heat, waxes and tumbling. The grain pattern and color is outstanding and totally natural, nothing like I have seen from Horween® or other tanneries before.
